We value our partnership with you. Understanding the terms of our enterprise IT services ensures a foundation of mutual transparency and operational excellence.
Review Terms
1. Service Agreements & Scope
How do we define the boundaries of our digital partnership? At Caldera Compute, every project starts with a clearly defined Statement of Work (SOW) that outlines technical requirements, deliverables, and timelines. We don't believe in vague promises.
Our commitment to you covers computer system design, network infrastructure setup, and custom software development. We're dedicated to delivering 99.9% uptime for cloud solutions, provided clients adhere to the security protocols detailed in our data management guidelines.
Secure Protocols
Industry-leading encryption standards for all clients.
Fair Usage
Transparent billing and resource allocation.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Who owns the code? It's a common question in IT consulting. Unless otherwise specified in your individual contract, Caldera Compute grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the custom software we develop specifically for your business operations.
However, we retain ownership of our proprietary tools and infrastructure libraries that we've refined over 17 years in the computer systems industry. We're proud of our trade secrets, and they're what give your system the competitive edge.
3. Liability & Performance
Limited Liability
We're experts, but we're also realistic. Caldera Compute isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from third-party hardware failures or ISP outages.
Data Recovery
While we implement robust backup strategies, regular data auditing remains a joint responsibility. Don't skip your internal health checks.
Termination
Services can be terminated with 30 days' written notice. We'll ensure a smooth transition of datasets to your new provider if required.
